Obituary

Florine I. Rosauri, 89 of Wilmington passed away peacefully, with her children by her side, into the loving arms of the Lord on Saturday morning, March 14, 2026.

Born in Wilmington, Delaware, Florine was the daughter of the late Susan (Celano) and Samuel Delapo. She grew up in a more idyllic time, walking along the Brandywine River, hanging out with friends at the Rose Garden and Sugar Bowl and working for the Delaware News Journal. She graduated from P.S. DuPont High School, and in her late 30's as her children got older, she went on to get her degree in Criminal Justice from Delaware Technical College. Her successful 30 year career as a Delaware real estate agent inspired others to join the profession, including many family members. In addition to her real estate career, she also worked at JCPenney's cosmetic counter for ten years.

Her lifelong love for North Wildwood, New Jersey began in childhood and remained one of her greatest joys. Whether it was as a teenager with her first love John, at her parents' beach house on 5th street, or at one of her beach homes over the years, she loved to spend her time in the salty beach air surrounded by family. She enjoyed walking the seawall, visiting her cousin Gloria, fixing up her beach house, and taking in the ocean views while sipping coffee. Mirroring her love for North Wildwood, her children, grandchildren, and extended family continue this legacy through family week.

As a devout Christian, Florine's faith remained a guiding light throughout her life. Some of her lifelong passions were cooking, reading, and antiquing, in fact she owned an antique shop called The Flea Bag in the late 1970s. She loved searching for properties with her second love, husband Sante. She was a self taught pianist and an avid oil painter creating many beautiful pieces. After Florine's retirement she enjoyed playing the piano, gardening, and caring for her dog Coco. Additionally, she continued her calling for serving others by caring for her grandchildren. Through the local senior center she enjoyed weekly bible study and art classes. An inspiration and role model for all her children and grandchildren, Florine instilled within them a strong sense of family and a priority for time spent together. Always taking care of everyone, she was the heart of the family, always cherished and will be missed by all.

In addition to her parents, Florine was predeceased by her first husband, John A. Sianni; her second husband, Sante Rosauri; her brother, Angelo Delapo; and her son-in-law, George Rose.

Florine is survived by her children, Sandy Buckman and Grant, Robyn Rose, Tina Ciotti and Jeff, Angel Lynn Burns and Kevin, Anthony Sianni, Joe Rosauri and Brandon Morgan, and Sam Rosauri and Bethani O'Neill; her grandchildren, Anthony Sianni Jr., Daniel Buckman (Maria), Kristen Stevens Sianni (Jim), Nicole Buckman, Jordan Sianni (Victoria), Brandon Buckman, Joey Wary, Gabe Ciotti (Emily), Justin Rosauri (Ashlee), Samantha Rosuari (Zach), Shay Burns, Olivia O'Neill and Lainy Burns; her great-grandchildren, Shane Buckman (Briana), Ariana Buckman Pritt (Trevor), Santino Sianni, Luke Stevens, Gianna Stevens, J.J. Sianni, Mackenzie Stetter, Fiona Sianni and Sante Rosauri, and her sister, Ann Kokoszka, extended family and friends.
