Florence P. Kowalski, "Flo", age 93, of Wilmington, DE passed away peacefully on March 5th, 2026 at The Summit in Hockessin. Born in Wilmington, Flo was the daughter of the late Lillian (Toner) and Harold Parkinson. She graduated from Wilmington High School and spent time working for Bell Atlantic Telephone Company and Pusey and Jones. In addition to her work, she was a dedicated homemaker for her husband and two children.

Flo is predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Henry Kowalski; her son, Stephen Kowalski; and her sister, Shirley Parkinson. She is survived by her daughter, Christine Kowalski and her partner, Ali Samii.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to Flo's longtime friend and caretaker, Maryam Savabi for her exceptional dedication to Flo over the past few years. They would also like to thank the staff of The Summit and Bayada Home Healthcare for their dignified care of Flo.
