Elizabeth F. ZankowskyAge 88, of Wilmington, DE, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, October 28, 2016 surrounded by her family.Born in Wilmington, Elizabeth was the daughter of the late Paul and Victoria (Sekscinski) Tolwinski. She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond Zankowsky, and her siblings, Ann McCabe and John and Paul Tolwinski.She will be dearly missed by her daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah and Thomas Horning of Wilmington, DE, Diane and Richard Dettra of St. Augustine, FL, Donna and Brooke Paige of Washington, VT and Denise and Kenneth Barnes of Newark, DE; her grandchildren, Tommy and Paul Horning, Sarah Stewart, Ryan and Gregory Dettra and Kristin Webster, Kenneth, Andrew and Rachael Barnes; and 14 great grand children. Also surviving are her sisters, Helen Szperka and Maryanne Tolwinski of Wilmington and Agnes Raymond of Avalon, NJ.Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday morning at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 2501 Centerville Road, Wilmington at 11 AM, where friends may call after 10 AM. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery, Wilmington.
