Elizabeth Marion Plummer, age 101, passed away surrounded by her family on August 3, 2025. A lifelong native of Wilmington, Elizabeth was born in Greenville, the daughter of the late Helen (McCormick) and John Ferguson. She graduated from Wilmington High School, a member of the class of 1942. Elizabeth spent 9 years working for DuPont before spending nearly 20 years in sales at Sears. In addition to her professional career, she was a Democratic Poll Worker volunteer and a homemaker for her three sons.

Elizabeth is survived by her children, Edmond "Ed" (Benita) Plummer, John G. "Jack" Plummer, and James F. "Jimmy" Plummer; 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Elizabeth is predeceased by her husband, Edmond L. Plummer; her daughter-in-law, Barbara Plummer; and her siblings, Eleanor Baird, Marie Dunlop, and John Ferguson.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday August 8th, 2025 at 10 A.M. at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Gilpin and Union Streets, Wilmington, DE 19806. Burial will be held privately at All Saints Cemetery, Wilmington. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to St. Ann's Church, 2013 Gilpin Avenue, Wilmington, DE 19806.
