Elizabeth Ann Bower, age 67, of New Castle, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, February 6, 2023.

Elizabeth was born in Cape May, NJ, daughter of the late Joan (Hinch) and John Mulherin. She graduated from high school and received her nursing degree. She worked as a nurse for a few years before becoming a homemaker to raise her family. Later in life, she worked the remainder of her career in banking. In her free time, Elizabeth enjoyed crafting, visiting with her friends at the New Castle Senior Center, cooking, and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, Elizabeth is predeceased by her loving husband, Steve Bower; sister, Jennifer Costa; and brothers, Sean and Jack Mulherin.

Elizabeth is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Zecha, Jaime Donnelly, and Kristen (Steven) Trapani; grandchildren, Benjamin, Katherine, Erin, Meghan, Jackson, and Ryan; sisters, Mary Frances, Connie, Cathy, and Marie; and numerous nieces, nephews, and close family friends whom she all loved.

Services and burial will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Elizabeth's name to the New Castle Senior Center.
