Eleanor Ryan Warren passed away quietly with her family by her side on Sunday, May 8, 2022. She was born to James J. and Dorothy Simmons Ryan in 1926 and later became the adopted daughter of John and Mary Dougherty. She attended Sacred Heart and Wilmington High Schools and worked for the DuPont Company for 20 years in both the Treasurer's and International Departments retiring in 1963.

She was an avid golfer, member of Delcastle Golf Course, and got a hole in one at the age of 80. Other pursuits of hers were volunteering at Resurrection Parish in Wilmington, DE, travel and spending summers with her family and friends in Sea Isle City, NJ.

She is predeceased by R. Bruce Warren to whom she was married for 47 years. Her first husband, Paul Crumlish died in 1964. Survivors include her daughter and her husband, Judy and Jeff Hannon of Amenia, NY; step-children and their spouses Robert B. Jr and Janet Warren of Myersville, MD, Janet Worne-Mansfield of Lexington, KY, Scott Warren of Norwood, CO and Daniel Warren of Santa Fe, NM and ten grandchildren (Heather, Hilary, Rob, Kathrine, Devon, Leslie, Chris, Wolf, Patrick and Katelyn) and three great grandchildren (Greyson, Evey and Harrison) and many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by a brother and his wife, James and Mary Ryan, and her sister and her husband, Dorothy and Bill Barnes.

Visitation will take place on Monday, June 20th, 10 a.m. at Resurrection Parish, 3000 Videre Drive, Wilmington, DE. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Christiana Care and Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care, 4755 Ogletown Stanton Rd, Newark, DE 19718.
