Age 85 of Dover, formerly of Wilmington passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, June 15, 2017, surrounded by her family.Eleanor was born in Wilmington, the daughter of the late Jennie (La Fazia) and Carmine Chirichillo. She was a graduate of Wilmington High School in 1950 and was a former member of St. John the Beloved Church. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Angelo, Anthony and Louis Chirichillo; her sisters, Rose Chirichillo, Jennie Vintigni, Mary King and Carmela Butler and her husband, William J. Talarowski, Sr. in 2014.Eleanor is survived by her children, Joanne Iliff of Lewes, William J. Talarowski, Jr. and his wife Linda of North East, MD and Carol Cole and her husband, Robert of Dover; her grandchildren, Amanda Ryan (Fred), Christopher Hayes (Crystal), Nicholas Iliff (Eileen), Susan Carlyle (John), April Norman, Jimmy Benjamin (Danielle), Caitlin and Haley Talarowski; her great-grandchildren, Kyle, Mary-Alyce, Emily, Amaya, Michael, Ana, Jaxson, Taylor Rae and Anthony.Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday morning at 11 AM at St. John the Beloved Church, 907 Milltown Road, Wilmington, where friends may call after 10 AM.
