Edward A. Kokoszka, age 83, of New Castle, DE passed away peacefully on February 25th with his family by his side.

Edward was born June 13th, 1940 in Chester, PA to the late Catherine and Joseph Kokoszka. He graduated from Salesianum School in 1958 and attended Philadelphia College of Pharmacology. Ed enjoyed being in the contracting business and loved working with his sons; it kept him going. He was a member of the Polish Library where he made many friends. He loved spending time at the family shore home in Wildwood, NJ where he enjoyed having a cold drink on his porch.

In addition to his parents, Ed is predeceased by his brother, Richard Kokoszka and his daughter-in-law, Leslie Kokoszka. Edward is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Ann (DeLapo) Kokoszka; his children and their spouses, Deborah and John Andrews, Edward J., Richard A. and Mary Lou, and Joseph A. and Andrea; 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Monday March 4th at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 345 Bear Christiana Road, Bear, DE 19701 from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 A.M. Burial will follow at All Saints Cemetery.
