Age 74, of Elsmere, DE, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2016.Born in West Chester, PA, Edward was the son of Edward Sr. and Helen May (McCarthy) Doyle. He was a graduate of Conrad High School and was a proud retired Teamster Local #326. He was a former Mayor and Councilman in Elsmere.He leaves behind his wife of 56 years, Elaine (Dagenais); his children, Elainamarie Franzone (Mark), Edward Doyle III (Lisa), Tina Huisenga (Doug) and Annette McHugh (Neal); his grandchildren, Roman, Gabrielle, Rosario and Mackenzie Franzone, Delaney, Keegan, Ragan and Peyton Doyle, Devin, Connor, Nolan and Kennity Huisenga and Killian McHugh; his brother, Theodore (Eileen); several nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 3rd at 10:30 AM at Corpus Christi Church, 901 New Road, Elsmere, DE 19805 where friends and family are invited to visitation after 9 AM. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in Ed's name to Corpus Christi Church at the address above.
