It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Edith M. Reasin of Wilmington, DE. Edie passed away on April 28, 2015 surrounded by her loving family.Born in Morristown, NJ, Edie was the daughter of the late William H. and Grace M. (McCarthy) McCormick. Edie graduated from Conrad High School and was employed for many years by DuPont Company until retirement.Edie enjoyed spending time at Rehoboth Beach, boating, swimming, fishing, and crabbing. She enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she held particularly close to her heart. Edie will be remembered as a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She had a great sense of humor and a heart of gold.Left to cherish Edie's memory are her children, Colleen Maloney (James), Eileen Cohee, William Reasin and Patrick Reasin; her grandchildren, Michele, Sean, Brian and Kevin; and nine great grandchildren. Also surviving are her brother, William Witt (Patricia); sister, Grace Martin; and many nieces and nephews.Edie was predeceased by her husband, Norris F. "Jake" Reasin; and her great grandson, Micha R. Robinson; and her sisters, Kathleen Vari and Shirley Work.Services will be private.
