Earl C. Rosenberger, age 95, of Wilmington, DE passed away surrounded by his family on June 1, 2022.

Born in Blanchard County, Ohio, he was the youngest son of the late Cora E. (Kratzer) and Charles L. Rosenberger. He served in the United States Army as a radio service tech with the 9427 TSU Signal Unit Company in Anchorage, Alaska during World War II. Upon discharge from the service, Earl completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering at the Ohio State University.  Upon graduation, he was hired as a chemical engineer with the DuPont Company.  He eventually retired working in the Human/Labor Relations Division after 36 years. In retirement, Earl enjoyed carpentry and could often be found working on projects for friends and family. He was a loving grandfather and he found great happiness in spending time with them. Earl was active in many church positions and bible studies at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Chester Bethel United Methodist Church and most recently was a member of Hockessin United Methodist Church.

Earl was predeceased by his wife of 70 years, Jean Marilyn Rosenberger; and his daughter, Margaret Ann Rosenberger. He is survived by his children and their spouses, Karen J. and Randy Scott, Stephen E. and Sherron Rosenberger, Barbara A. and Navy Jones, and Beverly J. and David Dennett; his nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren with one more on the way.

The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to the Seasons Hospice nursing staff and doctors who took care of our father during his final week of life.  Their care, kindness and compassion to us and our father was life affirming.

A visitation will be held from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. with the funeral service beginning at 11 A.M. on Tuesday, June 7 ^th both at the Hockessin United Methodist Church, 7250 Lancaster Pike, Hockessin, DE 19707.   Burial will be held privately.
