Age 71, of Wilmington, DE, passed away peacefully at Christiana Hospital on Tuesday, February 17, 2015.Earl was born in Harrisburg, PA and was a graduate of Elizabethtown College. He served his country as a corpsman in the US Navy. For 25 years, he worked for Astra Zenaca, retiring in 2000 as an executive director.He will be dearly missed by his wife of 48 years, Barbara A. (Newcomer) Heisey; two sons, Richard N. and his wife Dora of Madison, AL and Charles N. and Jessica Eastburn of Havre de Grace, MD; and five grandchildren, Blake, Aiden, Brendan, Logan and Zachary.Funeral services will be held Friday evening, February 20th at 7 PM at Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Road, Wilmington where friends are invited to visitation after 5 PM.
