Douglas E. Hume was born in Wilmington, Delaware and passed unexpectedly on December 28, 2020. He graduated from DelCastle Technical High School. Doug worked a variety of landscaping jobs and looked forward to volunteering at the St. John the Beloved carnival every year. Doug spent many happy days boating with his family on the Chesapeake Bay and spending time at Scott's Point Marina in Chestertown, Maryland. More recently, Doug lived in Dover, Delaware and worked with KSI. After his passing, Doug was a donor to Gift of Life. Doug was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Joyce Hume. He is survived by his sisters Christine (Rich) O'Neal and Andrea Danucalov; his nephew Tommy; his nieces Susie, Danielle, and Ana; and many cousins, aunts, and uncles. In addition, Doug had many friends he met through Connections and KSI. A Celebration of Doug's life will be held when it is safe to gather.
