Douglas H. Cannon, "Doug", age 68, of Newark, DE passed away surrounded by his family on August 15 ^th , 2022.

Born in Wilmington, DE, he was the son of the late Lillian (Clark) and Horace Cannon. He attended Dickinson High School, later receiving his degree from James H. Groves Adult High School and attended Delaware Technical Community College. Doug faithfully worked as a property manager for the Ross and Bolling families, starting with them as a teenager. When he was not working, Doug enjoyed deer hunting and visiting his grandchildren in Florida, who fondly called him "Puppy".

In addition to his parents, Doug was predeceased by his sister, Barbara Gove; his sister-in-law, Lorraine Cannon; and his brother-in-law, Robert Hart.

Doug is survived by his wife of 36 years, Carolyn M. Cannon; his daughter and son-in-law, Christine and Jeff Hill; his grandchildren, Kierstyn and Logan; his brother, Robert "Bob" Cannon; and his sister, Faye Hart; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
