Dorothy A. ReidAge 82, of Middletown, DE, passed away peacefully at her sister's residence on Thursday, October 29, 2015.Born Snow Hill, MD, Dorothy worked as a laboratory technician for the DuPont Company for 30 years before her retirement. She loved animals. She was predeceased by her husband, Theodore Reid and her sister, Joyce Mitchel.She is survived by her daughter, Angela Shaw of Delaware City, DE; her sister, Irma L. Vilone of Clayton, DE; two grandchildren, Megan and George Shaw; a great granddaughter, Savannah Shaw; four nieces; 2 nephews; 4 great nieces; a great nephew; and a great great niece.Funeral services will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 4th at 11 AM at Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Road, Wilmington where friends are invited to visitation after 10 AM. Interment will follow at Gracelawn Memorial Park, New Castle.
