Dorothy Palandrani of Wilmington DE, age 90, passed away peacefully at home on March 14, 2021. Dorothy and her husband enjoyed traveling. Throughout their years together they took many cruises and travelled extensively in Europe. Dorothy loved animals and her family pets were lovingly indulged. Dorothy had a passion for gardening and could always be found outside on her deck, tending her potted flowers and vegetables. She spent many an enjoyable afternoon drinking coffee on the deck, often in the company of family and friends. However, Dorothy's greatest pleasure was derived in caring for her cherished family. Family gatherings were many and filled with delicious food and an abundance of laughter. Her beautiful, impish smile and quick sense of humor will be greatly missed. Dorothy was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She adored her two granddaughters and was like a second mother to them. Dorothy was predeceased by her son in law William Bayless Jr. She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Guy Palandrani, children; Nancy Bayless of Wilmington DE., Guy Palandrani Jr. of Wilmington DE., Paula Palandrani and Stanley Roberts of Newark DE., granddaughters; Sarah Heberle and husband Eric Heberle of Ontario NY and Alice Bayless of Cochranville PA.
