Dolores C. Newcomb, age 87, of Wilmington, DE passed away peacefully on October 15, 2024 surrounded by her family. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Dolores was the daughter of the late Edith and Walter B. Preston. Dolores was a dedicated homemaker for her husband, Walter, and her eight children. She was a parishioner of St. John the Beloved Catholic Church.

In addition to her parents, Dolores was predeceased by her husband, Walter B. Newcomb in 1994; her sons, Thomas Newcomb, Michael Newcomb, Richard Newcomb, and John Newcomb.

Dolores is survived by her son, Walter Newcomb, II; her daughters, Colleen King, Barbara Witt, and Eileen Yates; sixteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held privately at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Bear, DE.
