Diane Elizabeth Connor

Diane Elizabeth Connor, age 76, of Wilmington Delaware passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2026, surrounded by her family.

Diane was born in Wilmington, DE to the late Rose (O’Neill) Reese. She graduated from Conrad High School as a member of the class of 1968. Diane went on to spend her career in education, working at Richardson Park Elementary School until retirement in 2005. She cherished her grandchildren and great grandchildren and all the memories they made together.

Above all, Diane loved her family fiercely and found her greatest happiness in simply being together. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother (Nana), great grandmother and friend whose love and presence will be missed beyond measure.

Diane is survived by her husband of 56 years Paul Joseph Connor; her daughters and their spouses, Nicole L. and Robert Andrews of Wilmington, and Kelly M. and Gus Martinez of Wilmington; her grandchildren, Robert J. Andrews (Fabiana), Connor P. Andrews (Danielle), Michael J. Andrews, Morgan Andrews, Madison R. Martinez, Gustavo C. Martinez; great grandchildren Lucia Andrews, Claudia Andrews, Connor Andrews, Nolan Andrews, and Bryson Andrews; her sister, Carol Stebner; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A visitation will be held on Saturday October 3rd from 10 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. at St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church, Clayton and Cedar Streets, Wilmington. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:30 A.M. Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s on the Brandywine Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Saint Elizabeth Catholic Church, 809 S. Broom Street Wilmington, DE 19805.
