Dennis E. Nantais, 70 of Newark passed away suddenly on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at his home. Dennis was born in Windsor, Ontario, Canada on December 21, 1950 to the late Nora (O'Connor) and Earl Nantais. He was a graduate of Newark High School and worked for over 20 years as an assembly technician for Chrysler Corporation. After retiring, he enjoyed listening to music and spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, Dennis was predeceased by his stepson, Thomas Raine. Dennis will be dearly missed by his wife of 21 years, Jeannie; his daughter, Heather Schilling (Krista); his step-children, Vicky Feehery (Sean), David Accord, Sarah Sacconey and his pride and joy, grandson, Silas Raine Schilling; his sisters, Sheila Nantais- Benford, Gloria Nantais and Laurie Nantais- Smith (Randy); his brothers, Gary (Cindy), Craig (Mary Ellen) and Brad Nantais and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at the MEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 2509 Limestone Road, Wilmington at 6 PM, where friends may visit after 5 PM. Burial will be private.
