Delores J. Davis, age 86, of Wilmington, DE passed away peacefully at home on Monday, April 7, 2015 with family by her side. Delores was born on April 27, 1928 in Flint, MI. Delores retired from Delaware Trust bank where she was a branch manager. Her passions were family and spending many summers at the family cottage in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Delores will be remembered by her warm smile, grace and vibrant presence. Delores was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Davis, Jr. in 2010, parents Ralph and Violet Dickenson and great grandson C.J. Delores is survived by her sons John W. Davis III (Nancy) in Arizona, James S. (Ruth Ann) in Maryland, Michael N. in New Jersey and Mark C. (Sue) in Delaware. She is also survived by her grandchildren Rachel, Scott, Amy, Katie, Erika and Jenna and her great granddaughter Adrianna as well as many other family members. The family would like to thank the staff and residents of Millcroft where she enjoyed many activities and had close friends.
