Debra Ann Brown, age 67, of Newark, DE passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on November 14, 2024. Born in Wilmington, Debra was the daughter of Barbara (DeMarco) and the late Casimir Woznicki. Debbie graduated from John Dickinson High School and spent 36 years working in the Deli Department at Super Fresh, retiring as Deli Manager. Debbie loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, especially summer days relaxing by her pool. Everyone was always welcomed. Debbie loved visiting local craft shows and shopping with her daughter. Debbie loved taking trips to the beach. She was always busy with her grandchildren taking them to the skateboard park, fishing or sporting events. Vacations were always an adventure which gave the family years of laughs and memories. Debbie will be dearly missed by her beloved dogs, Lilly and Bella, whom she was incredibly fond of.

In addition to her father, Casimir, Debbie was predeceased by her husband of 46 years, James "Tinker" Brown in 2022. She is survived by her children, Dana Walsh (Ralph) and James "Jimmy" Brown; her grandchildren, Hunter, Alaina, Mason, James Jr., Caitlyn; her mother, Barbara Woznicki; her siblings, Marsha Sanders, Chuck Woznicki, Joseph Woznicki (Pam), and John Woznicki (Patty); her in-laws, with whom she was very close, Linda Khanoyan (Ashad), Gail Ascione (Vinny), Lois Haynie (Robert), and Renee Kotoski (John). In addition to her family, Debbie is survived by her lifelong friends whom she considered an extension of her family, Gail, Sharon, Carol, Donna, and Mary.

A visitation will be held on Thursday November 21, 2024 at the Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Road Wilmington, DE 19808, from 12PM to 1:30PM with funeral services beginning at 1:30PM. Burial will follow at All Saints Cemetery.
