Deborah A. Forrest, 63 of Wilmington passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at Wilmington Hospital.

Debbie was born in Wilmington, the daughter of the late Cecelia (Rybicki) and William Prettyman. She was a graduate of St. Hedwig's High School and worked for over 20 years as a billing coordinator for A.I. DuPont Children's Hospital. A devoted mother and grandmother, she will be greatly missed.

In addition to her parents, Debbie was predeceased by her son, Kevin G. Forrest and her sister, Patricia Novak Barbato.

Debbie is survived by her daughter, Michelle N. Forrest of Claymont; her grandchildren, Stevie, Isaiah, Ryan and Nate; her brother and sister-in-law, Tom Novak, Jr. and Kay of Elsmere and her former spouse, William Forrest Jr. of Wellsboro, PA.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at the MEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 2509 Limestone Road, Wilmington at 11 AM, where friends may visit after 10 AM. Burial will be private.
