Conrad R. Wachowski, age 80, of New Castle, DE passed away on April 2, 2025 surrounded by his wife and loving companions, Chance and Ziggy. Born in Wilmington, Conrad was the son of the late Josephine (Szulecka) and Stephen Wachowski. He graduated from Wilmington High School and spent time working at Electric Hose and Rubber. He went on to spend 25 years as an Insurance Agent with United Insurance prior to working in transportation at Power Logistics.

Conrad's true passion was classic muscle cars and a love for animals. He was a longtime car enthusiast and was the proud owner of a 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle SS and 1995 Impala SS, among others. Conrad was a lifelong dog owner and always had two to three beloved dogs at one time; they were his heart. His love of life will be dearly missed by those closest to him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death and on the anniversary of the passing of his son, Stephen Edward Wachowski; his siblings, Richard S. Wachowski, Lillian Himmelberger, and Joann DalGesso. Conrad is survived by his wife of 40 years, Dianne Hunter Wachowski; his son and daughter-in-law, Jarrod Conrad and Camme Jones Wachowski; his granddog, Layla; his sister-in-law, Kathryn "Kitty" Wachowski; and his beloved dogs, Chance and Ziggy.

Funeral services will be held privately.
