Christine B. Dougherty

Christine B. (Windsor) Dougherty, age 73, of Wilmington, DE passed away suddenly Thursday October 29, 2026.

Christine was born in Wilmington, the daughter of the late Irene (Pinkowski) and Albert Windsor. Retired, she had previously worked for her community’s doctor office. Christine loved to socialize with and care for her family and friends, and her talent for creating and sustaining caring environments will be dearly missed.

In addition to her parents, Christine was predeceased by her daughter Jessica L Ruff; sister Kathleen Grzyzwacz, and brother Michael Windsor. She is survived by her husband Charles of Wilmington; her children Timothy, Michael, Jacqueline, and Charles, Jr (Michelle), all of Wilmington; her grandson Joshua Ruff, of Wilmington, and granddaughter Camryn Dougherty, of Wilmington; siblings Albert Windsor (Elaine) of Florida; Eugene Windsor (Diane) of Lewes; Robert Windsor of Wilmington; Peter Windsor of Bloomsburg, PA; and many in-laws, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral services for Christine will be private. As a cancer survivor, in lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Helen F. Graham Cancer Center & Research Institute.
