Cheryl J. Kelly, 68 of Wilmington passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 3, 2022 at her home.

Cheryl was born in San Antonio, TX the daughter of Lois (Boward) and the late Floyd Hightman, Jr. She was a graduate of McKean High School and retired as a retail Manager for Texaco for over 20 years. In addition to her parents, Cheryl was predeceased by her husband, Patrick Kelly in 2016 and her daughter, Gabrielle Manganaro Smallwood in 2018.

Cheryl is survived by her daughter, Candice Kohler of California; her sister, Mary P. Miller of Ellicott City, MD; her brothers and their spouses, Rodney Hightman and wife, MaLinda Narkavich of Saylorsburg, PA, Daniel and Midge Hightman of Smryna, Mark and Suzanne Cox of Bear, and Greg Hightman of Lady Lake, FL; and her grandchildren, Alec J. Smallwood, Aiden T. Smallwood, Matthew Johnson, and Khalie Seigel.

Funeral services and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Renee's Rescues, PO Box 1297, Hockessin, DE 19707.
