Age 53, of Wilmington, DE, passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2017 surrounded by his loving family.Chuck had worked as a sprinkler fitter for UA Local 669, he was a Mr. "Fix-it" kind of guy. Being outdoors was his biggest enjoyment; hunting, fishing and crabbing. He was entertained by NASCAR, sports and loved spending time with family, friends and the family dogs, Brodie, Diesel and Coca.He was preceded in death by his mother, Charlotte (Laker) Reed in 2013. He is survived by his father, Charles Reed; his children, Lindsey and Brandon Reed; his sisters, Christine Setting and Elise Kelley (Kevin); his niece, nephews and great nephews; and his soon-to-be born granddaughter, who he could not wait to meet.Friends and family are invited to visitation after 10 am on Tuesday, April 11th at Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Road, Wilmington where funeral services will begin at 11 am.
