Charles L. Hammond, Jr. "Charlie", 75 of Wilmington passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Accent/Seasons Hospice in Newark.

Charlie was born in Wilmington, the son of the late Nathalie (Ball) and Charles L. Hammond, Sr.  He graduated from John Dickinson High School and the University of Delaware. Charlie was a senior business systems analyst for Astra Zeneca for over 30 years.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Wayne Hammond.

Charlie is survived by his wife of 49 years, Karen A. (Fraticelli) Hammond and his daughter, Catherine E. Hammond and her partner, Dave Clark of Philadelphia, PA.

Funeral services will be private.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the Parkinson's Foundation, 1359 Broadway, Ste 1509, New York, NY 10018.
