Age 86, of Wilmington, DE, passed away at her home on Monday, September 15, 2014. Born in New Castle, Catherine was the daughter of the late Charles and Laura Belle (Cahall) Sharp. She attended Brown Vocational Technical School. A homemaker, she enjoyed baking, cooking and cleaning. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward F. Markowski in 1995 and by her son, Francis Markowski in 2008. She will be dearly missed by her daughter and son-in-law, Delores and Charles Rice of Wilmington, DE; her son, Richard Markowski of Greenville, SC; and four grandchildren, James, Deborah, Kimberly and Natalie. Also surviving are nine great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 18th at 11 AM at Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Road, Wilmington where friends and family are invited to visitation after 10 AM.
