Carolyn K. Henderson, 75 of Laurel passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2023 at Lofland Park Center.

Carolyn was born in Salisbury, MD, the daughter of the Rose Marie (Lombardo) and Henry Koterwas. She worked as an insurance verification representative for A.I. DuPont Hospital for 10 years, retiring in 2002.  In addition to her parents, Carolyn was predeceased by her sister, Diane Koterwas in 2003.

Carolyn is survived by her husband of 53 years, Joseph B. Henderson, Sr.; her sons and their spouses, Joseph and Michelle Lynn Henderson and Michael Henderson and Maggie Abercrombie; her grandchildren, Phoenix and Lauren Henderson; and her brother, Ronald Koterwas.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at the MEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 2509 Limestone Road, Wilmington at 2PM, where friends may visit from 1-2PM. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery, Wilmington.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the SPCA, 22918 Dupont Blvd, Georgetown, DE 19947.
