Carole M. McKinley, age 81, of Newark, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 26, 2023.

Carole was born in Uniontown, PA, daughter of the late Edith A. (Sorli) and Hugh "Bud" Morgan. Carole graduated from Wilmington High School, class of 1960, and became a homemaker to raise her young family. Carole was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt and her family meant everything to her. In her free time, Carole enjoyed traveling and visiting historical sites, especially Gettysburg, PA. In addition to her parents, Carole was predeceased by her loving husband, Francis P. McKinley Jr. in 2008; and sister, Eileen O'Toole.

Carole is survived by her daughters and their husbands, Debbie Reig (Roy) of Middletown, DE, and Kathleen Coleman (Danny) of Apple Valley, MN; son, Francis P. McKinley III of Newark, DE; grandchildren, Ryan, Angie, Joey, and Tony; and sister, Diane McDermott of Bear, DE.

A visitation for Carole will be held on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 455 Bow St., Elkton, MD 21921, where family and friends may visit from 10:30-11:30am, with a mass of Christian burial following at 11:30am. Burial will follow at Cathedral Cemetery in Wilmington, DE.
