Carol M. Hall, age 86, of Wilmington, DE passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at the home of her daughter in Alvin, TX. Born in Wilmington, DE she was the daughter of the late Helen (Manlove) and Stuart MacLennan.

Carol graduated from Wilmington High School and went on to work at the Carriage House on the second floor of Bambergers (now known as Macy's) in Christiana Mall. She began working at the Carriage House when it opened and remained there until it closed. Carol enjoyed playing bingo at the Mid County Senior Center, watching live music on the Riverfront, and playing shuffleboard at the Woodlea Apartments, where she resided. She also assisted with security while living in Woodlea and had many good friends during her years there.

Carol was predeceased by her husband, John Hall, Jr. in 1969; and her sisters, Judy MacLennan, Joanne Capodanno, Madolin Rohrbaugh, and Susan Peirce.

She is survived by her children and their spouses, Kathleen "Kathy" and Wayne Carmeans of Alvin, TX, and John III, and Mary Hall of Wilmington, DE; her grandchildren, Faith Burnett (Sean), Terry Carmeans (Tanya), John Hall IV (Brittany), and Catherine Fitzpatrick (Sean); her great grandchildren, Bryson, Paige, Marcus, Mackenzie, Madison, Mason, Marlee, and Brooks; and her sister, Helene Winward.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at the Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Road Wilmington, DE 19808 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with Funeral services following at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at All Saints Cemetery.
