Carol G. Arrowood, age 88, of New Castle, DE, passed away on March 30, 2026. Carol was born in Wilmington, DE to Anna Rose (Fowler) and George MacDonald Sr. "Harry" on October 19, 1937.

Carol was a loving mother to her only son, Jeffrey.  She was a devoted wife to her husband of many years, O.B. (Bill).  After retiring from Wilmington Trust as a bank clerk, Carol enjoyed yard work, taking care of her beloved pets, and Sunday afternoon get-togethers and shopping trips with her sister, Lois.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband O.B. Arrowood, her son Jeffrey Arrowood, her parents George Sr. and Anna Rose MacDonald, and her sisters Lois Gonzalez, Judith "Kay" Baird, Phyllis McNulty, Lorraine McNulty, Gloria Smith, Audrey Slank and Jeanette MacDonald.

By her passing, Carol will be forever missed but her life will be celebrated by her surviving family:  brother George MacDonald Jr., niece and caregiver Kathy Eoppolo and her husband John, great-nephew Kevin Coverdale, great-niece Chelsea Coverdale, and her beloved kitty "Peanut".

Graveside services for Carol will be held at Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 North DuPont Hwy, New Castle, DE 19720 on Monday, April 6, 2026, at 11:00AM.
