Camille Kozlowski, age 67, of Newark, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, October 18, 2024.

Camille was born in Buffalo, New York, daughter of the late Emily Bumgart and Richard Maday. Camille graduated from West Seneca High School and received her associates degree from Erie Community College. She went on to work as an administrative assistant at the University of Delaware, and later Delaware Technical Community College, where she retired after 15 years. Camille had a soft spot in her heart for animals and over the years was involved in retired racing greyhound rescue. In her free time, Camille loved gardening, traveling to Utah to visit her daughters, and spending time with her friends and family. In addition to her parents, Camille was predeceased by her sister Delphine Maday.

Camille is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Daniel Kozlowski; daughters, Jaclynn and Rachel Kozlowski; brother, Lawrence Maday; and numerous nieces, nephews, and close family friends whom she all loved.

A visitation for Camille will be held on Friday, October 25, 2024 at the Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808, where friends and family may call from 10-11am, with a memorial service following at 11am. Burial will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Camille's name to Fur Ever Paws Dog Rescue, (fur-everpaws.com) or your local animal shelter.
