Brooks A. Gibson, 55 of Hockessin passed away suddenly on May 12, 2018 at Reading Hospital in Pennsylvania.Brooks was born in Concord, MA the son of Jeanette (Clark) and the late Robert E. Gibson. He had worked as a driver for Delaware Express for 10 years, and as a courier. His hobbies included playing and collecting guitars, playing at open mike nights, fishing and spending time in the Catskills and Adirondacks. Brooks was a long-time Eagles fan and enjoyed watching them win the Super Bowl. His father, Robert E. Gibson, passed away on April 13, 2018.Brooks is survived by his mother, Jeanette Gibson; his brothers, Bruce, Brian and Barry and his partner, Becky Lacey; his niece, Ariel Moore and her husband, Nathan; his nephews, Jacob Foster and Ezekiel Gibson, and his beloved cat, Rudy.A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 1:30 PM at the MEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 2509 Limestone Road, Wilmington, where friends may call after 1:00 PM. Burial will be private.
