Brian David Fleischut, age 52, of Wilmington, DE, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at the Mary Campbell Center.Born in Wilmington, Brian was the son of Albert "Bud" Fleischut and the late Margaret Donahue Fleischut. He attended John G. Leach School and was involved in Boy Scouts and the Special Olympics where he specialized in Bocce Ball. He was a lifetime fan of Johnny Cash and an active resident at the Mary Campbell Center.Brian is survived by his father and stepmother, Albert "Bud" Fleischut and Susan Wainwright of Wilmington; his stepsisters, Heather Higgin (Bryan) and Michelle Anderson (Jeremiah); his stepbrother, Scott Muterspaw; three nieces, Maddie, Sayge and Brook; uncle and aunt, Jeff and Kathy Fleischut; and cousins Jeff (Sherry) and Kim (Adam) and their familiesFuneral services will be private.
