Barbara A. Wisnewski, 83, of Bear, DE, formerly of the Parsons section of Wilkes-Barre passed away peacefully at home with her husband by her side on Monday, March 3, 2025.

Born in Wilkes Barre, PA, Barbara was the daughter of the late Dominic and Stella (Suchoski) Totino.

Barbara attended local grade schools and was a 1959 graduate of Coughlin High School. Early in her employment, Barbara enjoyed working in retail including the Robert Hall's Clothing store. She also dedicated much of her time doing volunteer work, including helping the homeless with her good friend Pat Jones.

Barbara was a big Philadelphia Phillies fan, and she loved traveling to Florida and Tennessee with her husband.

Barbara is survived by her husband of 56 years, Gerald J. Wisnewski, her brother Donald Totino Sr. and wife Dorothy, sister Marilynn Allabaugh and husband John, and sister-in-law Kathy Carlin. Barbara also had several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews who held a very special place in her heart.

The family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to the Bayada nurses and caregivers who took care of her over the last few months. A special thank you to her niece Gina for helping to take care of her and Gerry during this difficult time.
