Barbara M. Normille, 84 of Wilmington passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 20, 2022 at Somerford House.

Barbara was born in Wilmington, the daughter of the late Stella (Ogert) and James Normille. She was a legal secretary for various lawyers and judges in the Wilmington area until her retirement. Barbara's greatest passion was caring for dogs. She gave a loving home to many dogs that were overlooked due to their age and/or health. She never married but had many who considered her part of their families. She always made time to be there for them.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was predeceased by her sisters, Joan and Marie. She is survived by nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Friday morning, November 25, 2022 at the MEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 2509 Limestone Road, Wilmington at 11 AM, where friends may visit after 10 AM. Burial will be in Gracelawn Memorial Park, New Castle. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the SPCA, 455 Stanton Christiana Road, Newark, DE 19713.
