Ayanna Ahleah DeSimone, age 29, of Wilmington, passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2023.

Ayanna was born in Wilmington, daughter of the late Jennifer (Gray) DeSimone. She graduated from Mount Pleasent high school. In her free time, Ayanna enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Ayanna was artistic, enjoying photography and listening to all genres of music. Animals held a special place in Ayanna's heart, especially her dogs. In addition to her mother, Ayanna was predeceased by her cousin, Kenny Ray.

Ayanna is survived by her sister, Aurora DeSimone; grandmother, Mary Gray; nephew, Mateo Zuniga; aunt, Tina Diggs; and numerous close family friends whom she all loved.

Services and burial will be held privately.
