Avery Ryan McCord, passed away in the loving arms of her parents on July 23, 2024. Avery was born on July 20, 2024, at Christiana Hospital to Melaina Ryan (Hudack) and Mark Philip McCord. Due to complications at delivery, Avery was welcomed into heaven several days after her birth.

Avery is survived by her devoted and loving parents, Melaina and Mark; her grandparents, Michael and Christine, Joseph and Peggy, and Anthony and Ruth Ann; her aunts and uncles, Michael, Allison, and Rhodie; and numerous cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday August 2, 2024, at 10 A.M. at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 7200 Lancaster Pike Hockessin, DE 19707. Burial will follow at All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to St. Mary of the Assumption, 7200 Lancaster Pike, Hockessin, DE 19707 or All Saints Cemetery, 6001 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE 19808.
