Ashton M. Smith, "Joe", age 88, of Wilmington, Delaware passed away on July 18th, 2024.

Born in Panama, he was the son of the late Ruth and Edward Smith. He immigrated to the United States in 1967, where he settled with his family. Joe spent over 10 years working for Brinks Armored Trucks prior to his retirement.

Joe was predeceased by his wife, Dolores Smith. He is survived by his son, Ashton Smith, Jr., daughter, June Beverly Fortune, and LaThina Banks, along with his son-in-law Titus Banks. Ashton also leaves to mourn a host of grands and great grands.

Funeral services will be held privately.
