Anthony Michael Dorazio, Sr., 61, of Wilmington, Delaware, passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2026.
Born and raised in Wilmington, Anthony was the son of Anthony Joseph “Buddy” Dorazio, Jr., and the late Roseann Dorazio. He grew up in the Cleland Heights neighborhood and graduated from St. Elizabeth’s High School. Wilmington was always home to Anthony, and his roots in the community remained an important part of his life.
Anthony worked as a service manager at Brian’s Auto Service in Wilmington. Outside of work, he was a passionate football fan who proudly supported the Philadelphia Eagles and USC Trojans. He also enjoyed going to the track and watching horse racing with his father.
Anthony had a wonderful sense of humor and loved sharing jokes and laughter with those around him. Whether he was telling a story, cracking a joke, or simply enjoying time with family and friends, he had a way of bringing laughter into the room. Those moments of humor, laughter, and togetherness will remain among the memories cherished by those who knew and loved him.
Anthony is survived by his wife of 31 years, Michelle “Molly” (Gallagher) Dorazio; his father, Anthony Joseph “Buddy” Dorazio, Jr.; his children, Anthony Michael Dorazio, Jr., and his partner, Ryan Taylor, and Delaney Judith Dorazio; his brothers, Michael Dorazio and his wife, Judi, and Matthew Dorazio and his wife, Amy; and his sister, Michele Kokoszka and her husband, Rick. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of Anthony on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church, located at Cedar and Clayton Streets in Wilmington, Delaware. Visitation will be held from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. Burial will be private.
