Anne Marie Gust, age 98, graced this world with her presence until April 12, 2024, when she peacefully passed away at home, surrounded by the love of her devoted family. Born in the heart of Wilmington, DE, she was the cherished daughter of the late Anne Marie (Finan) and John J. Mulvena. Anne went to high school in Wilmington where she later worked at a local bank. Anne's life was a testament to love and dedication. As a homemaker, she poured her heart into nurturing her husband and children. Anne found her greatest joy in the company of her beloved family, relishing moments together, especially during fun beach outings, holiday gatherings, and daily life. She also enjoyed going to movies and reading. Anne leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She is survived by her adoring children and their spouses: Ran and Judy Gust, Mary and Daniel Thompson, and Deb and Tom Gordon. Her grandchildren, Brielle Marie Dobie and Sierra Julia Gordon, will forever hold her close in their hearts, alongside her great-grandchild, Daniel Joseph Dobie, and numerous beloved relatives. Anne is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Aspen Katia Gordon, and her brother, John "Jack" J. Mulvena, Jr. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at a visitation to be held on Friday, April 19, 2024, from 9:30am-10:30am at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, 809 S. Broom St. Wilmington, DE 19805 . A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30am, with interment following at Cathedral Cemetery.
