Anna M. Salak, 84 of Newark passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 29, 2018 at Seasons Hospice surrounded by her family.Anna was born in Pittsburgh, PA, the daughter of the late Anna (Whittingham) and Robert E. Drass, Sr. She was a graduate of Notre Dame High School in Moylan, PA and worked for the DuPont Company for ten years. In addition to her parents, Anna was predeceased by her husband, Theodore J. Salak in 1967; her brothers, Donald and Robert E. Drass , Jr. and her great niece, Rochelle Shaw.Anna is survived by her son, Theodore J. Salak, Jr. and his wife, Carol of New Castle; her daughter, Anna M. Salak of Port Deposit, MD; her four grandchildren, Julianna Salak, April Keenan and Brian and Eric Salak and her sisters, Martha L. Drass of Wilmington and Dorothy B. Yellin of San Diego, CA.Funeral services will be held privately.
