Ann Marie Barczak, 95 of Wilmington passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at Millcroft Nursing Home.

Ann was born in Wilmington, the daughter of the late Millie (Galotto) and Daniel Norris. She worked as a registered nurse for Wilmington General Hospital and private duty for the DuPont family. She was a member of St. Hedwig Catholic Church.

In addition to her parents, Ann was predeceased by her husband, Henry J. Barczak, Sr. in 2009; her daughter, Joann Miller Long in 2010; her sister, Rita Chickadel DelleDonne in 2010; her son, Henry J. Barczak, Jr. in 2014 and her granddaughter, JudyAnn Dunsmore.

Ann is survived by her daughters, Benadette Wood and Christine Barczak; Her granddaughter, Michelle Lauber; her grandson, Shawn Dunsmore; her caregiver and great-niece, Lisa Chickadel-Filpo and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, August 30, 2024 at All Saints Cemetery, 6001 Kirkwood Highway 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Faithful Friends, 165 Airport Rd, New Castle, DE 19720. On-line condolences may be sent to Mealeyfuneralhomes.com
