Alief A. Ghrael

Alief A. Ghrael, age 59, of Wilmington, DE, passed away on October 22, 2026. Born in Hampton, VA, he was the son of Hattie (Jones) and the late Maliki Ghrael.

Alief worked in transportation for DART as a control center services supervisor. He is survived by his wife, Trina Ivery; children, Amin Ghrael, Kahron Ghrael, Elajaa Ivery, and Caiyah Mendez; his mother, Hattie Ghrael; and several sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A visitation will be held on Friday October 30th from 10 A.M. 11 A.M. at the Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Road Wilmington, DE 19808. A funeral service will begin promptly at 11 A.M. Burial will be held privately.
