Age 82, of New Castle, DE, passed away suddenly at his home on Friday, February 5, 2016.Born in Riga, Latvia, Alfred was the son of the late Ludvig and Anita (Vindeker) Wienikes. He served his country proudly in the US Army. He owned and operated Al's Auto Service Center for over 30 years before retiring.Alfred is survived by two sons, Tom of Newark, DE and Robert of Huntington, NY; two grandchildren; and a great grandchild.A committal service will be held at the chapel at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery on Fri, Feb 19, 2015 at 2pm.
