Albert John Fleischut, III, fondly known to his family and friends as "Bud", passed away on March 8, 2021. Born in Wilmington, he was the son of the late Doris (Neumann) and Albert John Fleischut, Jr. He worked as a machinist for Dupont for many years prior to his retirement. Aside from work, Bud enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, along with cruising and fishing. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, Margaret, and his son, Brian David. Bud is survived by his wife, Susan Wainwright; his stepchildren and their spouses, Heather and Bryan Higgins, Michelle and Jeremiah Anderson, and Scott Muterspaw and Kara Wengerd; his grandchildren, Maddie, Sayge, and Brooke; his brother and sister-in-law, Jeff and Kathy Fleischut, their children and their families. Funeral services were held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mary Campbell Center, 4641 Weldin Road, Wilmington, DE 19803.
