William J. Warren, IV "Bill" passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Wilmington, Bill was the son of Mary Jo (Henze) and William J. Warren III. He was a graduate of Glasgow High School and attended Delaware Technical Community College. A man of many talents, Bill most recently worked in sales at H.H. Gregg. He was unique, cool, humble, loving, witty and kind. He enjoyed time with friends, a good game of cards, cold beer, the New York Yankees and the Philadelphia Eagles. Bill's interests included his love of music, especially his jazz, mountain biking and fishing. He also volunteered time with the City of Newark Parks and Recreation Department helping with baseball. He was known as Mr.Trivia due to the amazing facts he had accumulated over his lifetime. Bill was loved by most and respected by all. He will be dearly missed by his parents, Mary Jo and William J. Warren III of Bear, DE; his sisters, Jenny Warren of Bear and Cynthia Warren of Freehold, NJ. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, July 21st at 10:30 AM at Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Road, Wilmington where friends and family are invited to visitation after 9 AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society, 92 Reads Way, New Castle, DE 19720.
