Thomas J. Chisholm, Jr. was granted his angel wings on February 26, 2017. He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late Thomas J. and May Jackson Chisholm and was educated in the Philadelphia Public School System. Tom was a graduate of West Philadelphia High School. He matriculated to Lincoln University, Pennsylvania later graduating from Temple Uni-versity where he was initiated into his beloved fraternity, Kappa Alpha Psi at the Temple Univer-sity Chapter, the Lambda of Kappa. Chisholm joined the United States Air Force and served his country honorably. After his discharge, he joined the Philadelphia Police Department, retiring as a Detective then moved to serve at the University of Delaware in a variety of roles subsequently retiring as an Investigator. He continued his serveses in education while working at Salem Community College in the role of Evening Coordinator. Chisholm was a beloved father, brother, uncle and grandfather who supported his children and grandchildren endeavors. He especially enjoyed the athletic prowess of his grandson, Seth Chisholm, whose sports teams bestowed up-on him honorary membership due to his tenacious ability to attend every event.Tom was dearly loved by his late Brother-in-Law James (Jim Jim) Wilson and is survived by his son Craig (Alethea) Chisholm, daughter Christine (George Shipp) Chisholm; siblings Irene Wil-liams, Janet Wilson and Samuel (Theo) Chisholm; grandchildren, Christina Chisholm, Aaliyah Chisholm and Seth Chisholm along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.He will be missed by those who were enriched by his generous spirit.
