Susan C. Leach, 58 of Newark, DE passed away peacefully at Select Specialty Hospital at St. Francis Hospital surrounded by her family.Susan was born in Wilmington, the daughter of Dorothy (Fanning) and the late Francis Fignar. She graduated in 1976 from St. Mark's High School and 1980 from the University of Delaware. Susan has worked as a customer service representative for the DuPont Company at Chestnut Run for the past three years. Prior to that she worked for Computer Sciences Corporation for 15 years and Mellon Bank for 10 years. She was a member of St. John's/Holy Angels Parish. Susan loved gardening, cooking, traveling and entertaining family and friends.Susan is survived by her husband of 34 years, Henry B. Leach, III; her sons, Henry F. "Hank" and his wife, Danielle of Toms River, NJ and Benjamin "Ben" of Newark; her granddaughter, Audrey; her mother, Dorothy Fignar of Middletown; her sister, Janet Fontello and her husband, Leonard Cullum of Middletown; her nieces, Katie and Julia Leach and her nephews, Michael Fontello (Nicole), Chase Cullum and Stephen Leach.Family and friends are invited to visit at the MEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 2509 Limestone Road, Wilmington on Monday evening from 6 to 8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday morning at 10:30 AM at Holy Angels Church, 82 Possum Park Road, Newark.
